Dallas Observer’s 36th Annual BEST OF DALLAS
Dallas Observer Best of Dallas® On Stands September 22nd
It’s a divided nation in a divided election year. But there’s one thing we can all agree on — the people in Dallas deserve to be recognized for the great things they do. In print. By an alternative weekly. We at the Dallas Observer accept this grave responsibility, as a civic duty and a proud tradition befitting of a cornerstone of the community.
You buyin’ this flag-waving stuff so far? Good.
This year’s theme, cheerfully borrowed from a presumptive presidential candidate, will help us explore the Best of Dallas®, an indispensable guide to the best nightlife, culture, food that the city offers. Like any great candidacy, and the bad ones too, the first step to success is being nominated. That process has begun, and as we’ve seen, every vote matters.
We’d also love to hear from you about special places we may have overlooked. Drop us a hint in the readers’ poll. The first round of voting to nominate your favorites ends August 3rd. Fill in the top 5 choices, then come back to the site starting August 11th to vote.
Just be careful what and who you nominate. You never know who’s going to win…if given the chance.
Special bonus for you social media lovers out there: Keep up with the best dishes, coolest concerts, and, of course, photos atfacebook.com/DallasObserver, on Twitter @Dallas_Observer and Instagram at @DallasObserver.
